Hello we are 3 hours from Corpus Christi, wonderful weather all the way. We parked a couple nights at Wally World, Last night there was no RV in the town we decided to stop at. We were without water good thing we had our own bottled drinking water. and a big jug of water for the toilet flush. Only thing no power so no coffee for breakfast. One never knows on these roads what type of filty service station we will stop at to get coffee not so good. So I stick to my bottled water.

We are parked at a beautiful camp site tonight on a hill over looking a large valley of oak trees. Fantastic.

see you tomorrow So long

We are on the road to Texas. We are taking the What you would call the back roads not thre freeways. This takes us through all the wee towns and villages. Lower grade park. But a lot cheaper. We were lucky tonight got wireless and One channel TV.

So you will not always, hear from us depends on the wireless hook up. I like the cheap part only $17.00 per night. Lots of barren country side, very few trees.
Lots of sunflower and corn, and mylo fields; also feed lots . We are thanking God for saftey. Very few cars or trucks. I have done some of the driving even on these narrow two way traffic country roads. see Ya

Just letting all of you know Mac and I will be moving out to Dallas Valley Camp tomorrow Friday Oct.12/2007. Mac is out there right now. Mac will be back in here about about 2PM, to hook on. There is one hook up out there for sewer and water we will be using till Oct 24 . We will leave on 25. Our prayer is that it will not get too terrible cold til we leave.
I am feeling the cold in here today with the wind blowing. I am going to have to pull down the blinds to keep it warmer in here.
Mac and I just completed our last day at the church this morning cleaning windows . This will seem very strange after doing the cleaning there for the past 8 plus years.

Today I am just finishing the small garbage bags for an order, have to fill the side bag with rice and stitch it by hand . I also will cut out netting into 2 inch strips to be rolled into a ball ready to crochet into car scrubbies for this same order. I also want to help Tiffany with her quilt so she can complete it. So much to do in so little time, before we leave; I better get focused and work hard.

Plus I am involved with my quilters group and will make a table runner, or at least learmn how to do it before we leave for the south.
I learned today it will take about 36 hours of driving to get to Corpus Cristi Texas, it is just over 1800. miles.
We will hopefully take our time traveling south.
